Slicers

Slicers are clickable buttons that allow you to filter your data. Using SEI, you can create slicers for your tables through the Table Design tab.

Create Slicers based on a Table​

To create a slicer for a table:

  1. Go to Insert > Table and create a table.
  2. Click on the table you have created. This opens the Table Design tab.
  3. Under the Tools tab, click Insert Slicer.
  4. Select the columns you want a slicer for.
  5. This creates a slicer within your sheet that is bound to your table.
  6. If you want to change the slicer's properties, you can right-click on the slicer and select Size and Properties or Slicer Settings.
Note

Slicers can only be created when the selected table has at least one column.
